Intending Muslim pilgrims have been advised to be pious as they prepare for the 2017 hajj.
The acting Chief Imam, Benin Central Mosque, Alhaji Ismaila Enabulele gave the advice during Friday’s Jumat prayer.
In a message titled Hajji, Alhaji Ismaila emphasized benefit of attending Hajj by Muslims in Mecca. He said it is one of the five pillars of Islam.
The Muslim cleric said during the Hajj sins are forgiven. He encouraged Muslims to always be their brother’s keeper. Some Muslims comment on lessons learnt. Prayers were offered for families peace of Edo State and the country.
