Group protests marginalization of Benin indigenes by oil companies

Members of the Benin Solidarity Movement on Monday staged a protest to the office of the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company in Benin City demanding for the immediate employment of one thousand Benin Indigenes by the NPDC.

Aigboje Ikhouria reports that the protesting members of the Benin Solidarity Movement are also calling on the Federal Government to consider Benin in the implementation of the thirteen percent oil derivation resource control.
