Three-Storey Building Collapses In Lagos

A three-storey building under construction has collapsed in the Ilasa area of Lagos.

The collapsed building fell on the adjoining buildings to it, trapping many people.

An eyewitness said emergency workers have rescued about nine persons from the rubble of the collapsed building, which is located at 2/4, Richard Abimbola, Off Limca Road, Ire Adri Estate.

About thirteen people have been brought out from the rubble with an unknown number of people still trapped.

Emergency workers have cordoned off the building, while the injured were said to have been taken to the Ilasa General Hospital.

Rescue operations are still ongoing.
