Ondo State Police Command has paraded some criminal suspects before newsmen in Akure the state capital. The suspects were arrested for alleged stealing, kidnapping and cult related killings.
Addressing Journalists, the Public Relations Officer Ondo State Police Command Femi Joseph explained that the police acted on a tip off that some hoodlums were using one uncompleted building as hide out. He said investigation led to the arrest of four ex-convicts who specialize in breaking into people’s shops and later relocate to the uncompleted building.
Some suspects were also paraded for cult related killings in Akure which claimed several lives in the last one week.
Two of the suspects however denied their involvement in the killings.
Femi Joseph said the police are still on the trail of the suspects who are on the run while those arrested will soon appear in court once investigation.
