President Buhari urges security agencies to be cautious, professional

President Muhammadu Buhari has directed security agencies in the country to do their best professionally, to contain the current security challenge necessitated by violent protests in some parts of the country, without aggravating the situation.
 
National Security Adviser, Major General Babagana Monguno, Retired, disclosed this to State House Correspondents at the end of the National Security Council meeting.
 
ITV statehouse correspondent Ikharo Attah reports the NSA as saying the president also also directed that government at all levels to do their best to address the problem, to avoid further escalation.
