African Science Research And Innovation Council appoints IUO Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ikechukwu Ezemonye as member of communications committee
The Vice-Chancellor of Nigeria’s premier private university, Igbinedion University, Okada, Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye has been appointed as a member of the Communication Committee of the Africa Science Research and Innovation Council.
A statement by the Head Public Relations Unit of Igbinedion University, Okada, Jide Ilugbo says the appointment of Professor Ezemonye was part of the decision by the second Bureau meeting of the Council held recently in Abuja.
The statement said Professor Ezemonye’s appointment conveyed in a letter signed by the Executive Director of the Africa Science Research and Innovation Council, Engineer Doctor Ahmed Hamdy and Chairman of the Bureau, Professor Ratemo W. Michieka.
According to the letter, the appointment was in recognition of the Vice-Chancellor’s vast wealth of knowledge, experience, commitment and support for the African Union and the continent.
