Academic Activities in the state owned Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma are set to bounce back as the school has released its academic calendar for 2020/2021 academic year.
A statement by the Deputy Registrar information Edward Aihevbha stated that the institution’s senate approved the resumption.
Mr. Aihevevbha disclosed that the school has acquired solar powered automated hand sanitizing machines placed at strategic points in the school for students.
He said some faculty buildings by the school management under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Ignatius Onimawo have been completed and will help the school adhere strictly to Covid 19 protocol.
The statement said returning students are expected to embark on registration between Fifteenth and Twentieth December, 2020 as mid semester text is scheduled for 30th December .
The statement reiterated that exams will commence on the 11th of January 2021 and end on the 16th January, 2021 while resumption of second semester lecture will follow on Monday 8th February 2021 to terminate on 31st of march, 2021.
The statement further stated that fresh students are to resume on the 8th of February 2021 to commence registration and orientation before matriculation scheduled for 16th of February next year.
According to the Deputy Registrar Information, students are to strictly adhere to the dates as all arrangements have been put in place by the school management to cover up for the lost period occasioned by COVID 19.
