At Last, President Muhammadu Buhari Signs N30,000 Minimum Wage Bill Into Law

After a long wait, President Muhammadu Buhari today finally signed the National Minimum Wage Bill into law. Speaking shortly after signing the bill , the President tasked Nigerian workers on commitment to duty while urging governments at all levels to pay the new national minimum wage. ITV statehouse correspondent Ikharo Attah reports the Senior Special Assistant on National Assembly matters, Senator Ita Enang as saying the development makes it compulsory for all employers of labour in Nigeria to pay to their workers the sum of N30,000 as the lowest wage.
