Ativie breaks fast with Muslims in her constituency

The member representing Uhunmwode Constituency and Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Elizabeth Ativie weekend joined the Muslim community in her constituency to breakfast.

Muslims from Eyean and Ahor communities playing host to the Deputy Speaker Elizabeth Ativie who has come to identify with them during Ramadan.

It was an opportunity for the Deputy Speaker to share ideas with members of her constituency who are Muslims on her achievements and track records.

Elizabeth Ativie thanked them for support which she has enjoyed for many years. She also canvasses support for the progress and policies of the present administration at the state and federal level.

In their responses, Chairman Eyaen cattle dealers, Alhaji Saad Ahmed and the secretary of the association who were elated said this is the first time a political office holder in the area is breaking fast with them while others who commented prayed for her and assured of their continued support.

The Deputy Speaker, Elizabeth Ativie has to her credit a mobile health clinic, awards of scholarship to some students, the construction of a hospital at Ehor, distribution of food items, and a quarterly field back programme where she briefs her constituents of her achievements and plans.
