Emir commends Presidential Committee on Dialogue

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero has commended the Federal Government for constituting the Presidential Committee on Dialogue and Peaceful Resolution of Security Challenges in the North.

Alhaji Bayero made the commendation when the committee led by its Chairman and Minister of Special Duties, Alhaji Kabiru Turaki paid him a courtesy call at his place in Kano.

He said government’s foresight in setting up the committee should be commended in view of the security challenges bedeviling the North in particular and the country in general.

The emir who expressed satisfaction with the calibre of people appointed to serve in the committee, prayed for continuous peace and unity in the country.
