The bye-election into Illaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency Seat took place Saturday with large turnout of voters at ward three unit one and two in Ilaje as accreditation commenced as early as 8am.
According to Ondo State Correspondent, Omorowa Jonah, the situation was the same at Arogbo ward one and two.
The story was however different in Arogbo where accreditation could not hold following alleged hostage taking of INEC officials and election materials by some aggrieved ex-militants who claimed they have been unfairly treated by government.
At the time of this report, collation of result was in progress.
Illaje/Ese-Odo Federal Constituency seat became vacant following the death of Representatives Raphael Nomiye last year in Abuja.
Some electorate who spoke with ITV News crew expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise and commended INEC and security agents for living up to expectation.
