The Canadian High Commissioner to Nigeria, Christopher Cooter has lauded the commitment of Ekiti State Governor, Doctor Kayode Feyemi to the development of the state.
Christopher Cooter who was in the State for a two-day working tour described the state as a model for any investor who is interested to come to Nigeria.
Ambassador Cooter said “Ekiti State has enough human capital resources and natural potentials that can make it a destination point for investors from all parts of the world”
Speaking with newsmen, Governor Kayode Fayemi reiterated his administration’s determination to utilize resources in with a view to attracking investors and fast track development of the state
The governor explained that his administration established the Solid Mineral Development Agency to ensure that people in the state benefit from the resources nature has bestowed on the state.
The Governor of the Canadian province of Manittoba is expected in Ado-Ekiti in October this year in furtherance of the co-operation between both governments.
