The National President of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mohammed Garba has harped on the need for security agencies to rise above the security challenges facing all parts of the country.
The NUJ President made the call while on a condolence visit to the management of Independent Television and Radio on the death of one its staff Chukwudi Ogu.
Mallam Garba Mohammed who described the death of Chuks Ogu as saddening urged security operations in the state to unravel those behind such act with a view to bringing them to book.
Receiving the delegation, the General Manager, Independent Television and Radio, Elder Ogbeide Uwumwonse thanked the NUJ boss for coming all the way from Abuja to condole with the station.
He described the late Chuks Ogu as a hardworking and dedicated staff that will be missed by all.
