Court grants DSS application to detain Omoyele Sowore for 45 days

The Federal High Court in Abuja today granted permission to detain the Publisher of Sahara Reporters and Convener of RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, for forty-five days.
 
Justice Taiwo Taiwo, ruling on an ex parte application by the Department of State Services, whose personnel arrested Mr. Sowore last Saturday, held that the detention order would be renewable after the expiration of the first forty-five days on September twenty-one.
