Court remands Nosa Osadolor in prison for alleged encroachment of NTA property

The Chief Priest of Aduwawa Community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area, Edo State, Prince Nosa Osadolor also known as Afro has been remanded in prison custody for alleged demolition of NTA perimeter fence and forceful Encroachment into the premises at the Aduwawa office of the broadcast station.

Ten charges including the Demotion of NTA Aduwawa perimeter fence with a  buldozer, forceful encroachment into the premises with fire alms as well as causing fear on the staff of NTA Benin were preferred against the accused person, Mr Nosa Osadolor by the court

In her ruling, Magistrate T. O. Omoruyi  shortly before adjourning the case till the 22nd of January 2018 to enable the police prosecutor, Superintendent Peter Ugwunba gets clearance from the State Director of Public Prosecution to know  if the Magistrate has the  jurisdiction to entertain the suit, said  the accused, Mr Nosa Osadolor be remanded in Oko Prison without an option of bail.

The matter will be coming up again on the 22nd of January 2018.
