Court Suspends Judgement On Suit Seeking To Sack Saraki, Others Over Defection

The Federal High Court sitting in Abuja today suspends judgment on a suit seeking an order to declare vacant the seats of the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House and 52 other members of the national assembly who defected from the parties that sponsored them to the 8th assembly Justice Okon Abang suspends the judgment following pleas by the defendants. Judicial correspondent Joseph Kadiri reports that Justice Abang suspends the judgment, in order to allow Saraki and others to file their defence
