Court To Rule Whether To Continue Olisa Metuh’s Trial In Absentia

A Federal High Court has adjourns to Wednesday to rule on applications brought by counsels in the trial of the former National Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Olisa metuh, who was absent from Tuesday’s trial.

Justice Okon Abang fixed the date to enable the court determine whether or not the court can continue on Metuh’s trial in his absence.

Joseph Kadiri reports that the court spent more time debating on why a lawyer who is appearing on the matter should discuss the issues of Monday’s proceedings on a television station
