Edo APC debunks allegation by PDP

The All Progressive Congress in Edo State has condemned the allegations by the PDP that the ruling APC has perfected plans to rig the Edo State Governorship election.

Speaking with Best Mbiere, the publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Comrade Godwin Erhahon who described the allegations as false also said that the APC has no plan to import militants to the state and mount pressure on security personnel to incorporate neighborhood watch.

Comrade Erhahon also refuted claims by the PDP that the APC has plans to purchase the uncollected permanent voters cards with the aim of rigging the election.




Earlier, the leadership of People’s Democratic Party in Edo State says it has uncovered plans by the ruling party APC to allegedly buy uncollected permanent voter card with the intention to rig the governorship election.

Best Mbiere reports that Edo State PDP chairman, Chief Dan Orbih said this during a news briefing in Benin City.
