Edo North Traditional Rulers visit Oshiomhole

Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole has described the auto crash that involved his convoy last Saturday as unexpected and unfortunate.

Governor Oshiomhole made the remark when he granted audience to Edo North Traditional Rulers Forum, who was in Government House to commiserate with him on the death of some journalists.

Receiving members of Edo North Traditional Rulers Forum, Governor Adams Oshiomhole appreciated their show of solidarity at this trying moment.

Governor Oshiomhole told the royal fathers that he is pained by the death of three journalists, whose lives were cut short at their prime. He stated that the police and State Security Service (SSS) have commenced full investigation into the incident.

In his remarks, the Otaris of Auchi, Alhaji Aliru Momoh, Ikelebe the Third, who spoke on behalf of the royal fathers, described the auto crash as unfortunate and prayed God to comfort and strengthen families of those who lost their lives in the incident.

The royal father urged Governor Oshiomhole to allow patience and perseverance prevail in the face of trials and tribulations. He said traditional rulers will continue to pray for the peace, progress and stability of the state and the nation.

Other traditional rulers are Alhaji A. Y. E. Dirisu, the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella, Alhaji Kelvin Danesi, Aidonogie of South-Ibie, Oba Idogu the Third, Olokpe of Okpe, Oba Idiaye Imah the Fourth of Somorika and Oba Emmanuel Adeche Sariki, Otaru of Igarra.

Others are Alhaji Imonikhe Kadiri Omogbai the Fourth, Ogieneni of Uzarue and Alhaji Kanoba, Egiegbai of Ekperi Clan.
