Edo PDP condemns raid on home of Edwin Clark, receives more defectors from APC

Edo State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Chief Dan Orbih has condemned in strong terms the raid on the first republic Information Minister and Ijaw National Leader, Chief Edwin Clark by Security personnel.

Best Mbiere reports that Chief Orbih disclosed this when he formally received the Chairman of the R-APC in Edo State, Chief Osamede Adun also known as Bob Izua and his supporters into the fold of PDP.

Reacting, the All Progressives Congress in Edo State has said the State PDP Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih does not have the political antecedent to criticize Edo State Government, more that the Edo State Government under the leadership of Godwin Obaseki has done well in the area of infrastructure.

Reacting to allegations by the PDP that Governor Obaseki is gallivanting different countries of the world without developing the state, the Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Chris Azebamwen said the visit of the governor to other countries have yielded results more than Edo people ever imagined.

On the issue of the problem of flooding in Edo State, the APC Publicity Secretary said the issue is not peculiar to Edo State alone.

That was the voice of the Edo State APC Publicity Secretary, Chris Azebamwen reacting to allegations by the PDP.
