Edo politician and businessman, Barr. Imasuangbon escaped death in auto crash

A front-line businessman and philanthropist, Barrister Kenneth Imasuagbon narrowly escape death when a heavy duty vehicle crashed into his convoy along Benin-Agbor express way.

Wellington Akodeja reports that the politician popularly known as they Rice-man is currently in intensive care at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital, UBTH.

Although the newscrew was denied access to the ward where Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon is receiving treatment, the faces of prominent chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP were conspicuous.

Edo state Chairman of the party Chief Dan Orbih, Senator Odion Ugbesia, friends and relations of the victim were also at university of Benin teaching hospital, UBTH.

It was gathered that Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon was returning from a function in Ewohimi to Benin when a truck veered off its lane and rammed into his convoy.

It was gathered that the vehicle conveying the politician was badly damaged.

Speaking on the victim’s present health condition, the chairman medical advisory committee, UBTH, Doctor Alfred Ogbemudia said Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon was responding to treatment as a team of doctors were working to ensure the speedy recovery of the victim.

Some PDP members, Senator Odion Ugbesia and Chief Dan Orbih expressed appreciation to God for sparing the life of the victim.

Barrister Kenneth Imasuangbon is a former PDP governorship aspirant in Edo state.
