Edo State Governorship Candidate sign Peace Accord ahead of September 19th election

In a bid to ensure a hitch free governorship election in Edo State, the fourteen candidates contesting in the governorship election today signed a Peace Accord with the Seven-man National Peace Committee led by its Chairman, former Head of State, General Abdusalami Abubakar, retired.
 
Roseline Ebhoramen reports that the event held at Oba Akenzua Cultural Centre on Airport Road, Benin City was witnessed by some civil society organisations and supporters of different political parties.
