England and Wales Cricket Board to cut 62 jobs as a result of COVID-19
The England and Wales Cricket Board is to cut 62 jobs as a result of the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic.
A statement from chief executive Tom Harrison said the game will lose more than hundred million pounds this year, a figure which could rise to two hundred million next pounds next year.
Proposals to reduce costs include a twenty percent cut of the workforce budget, with every part of the European Central Bank affected.
At the beginning of the pandemic, Harrison had warned of losses in excess of three hundred million pounds.
