FCTA Insists Sex Workers Lied Over Sex-After-Arrest Allegations

The administration of the federal capital territory says allegations that some Abuja commercial sex workers were raped after arrest were false and fabricated

The FCTA position when some of its officials appeared before the national human rights commission following petition by some non-governmental organisations who are protesting the alleged abuse of the rights of the commercial sex workers.

As correspondent Ikharo Attah reports that officials of the national human rights commission say they plan to organise a workshop to train fCTA officials on respect for human rights during enforcement across the territory.
