FG Says All Constituency Projects Must be Implemented

The Federal Goverbnment says no Constitunency Project captured in the 2013 budget should be left without implementation.
The minister of special duties and inter-governmental affairs, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki gave the charge at the flagging off ceremony of the monitoring and evaluation exercise of the implementation of 2013 zonal intervention constituency project in Abuja.
The projects are those initiated by members of the national assembly for development of constituencies.
The minister said a total of 2,399 projects have been captured in the federal government 2013 appropriation act.
In her remarks, minister of state for FCT, Oluye Olayumoke Akinjide advocated for more constituency funds to be allocated to the FCT to meet developmental projects in Abuja satellite towns.
The monitoring and evaluation is expected to cover not only the 2,399 constituency projects in the 2013 budget but also others constituency projects of previous years.
