Former President Goodluck Jonathan Tuesday says the Boko Haram insurgency, the Chibok girls’ abduction and the partial removal of fuel subsidy by his administration were some factors capitalized upon by his opponent to ensure his defeat during the 2015 presidential election.
the former president spoke in Abuja at an event organized to mark his 61st birthday during which he launched a book titled my transition hours.
Charity Tanko reports president Muhammadu Buhari commended his predecessor Dr Goodluck Jonathan for saving Nigeria by conceding defeat while collation of result was still on.
