The Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has felicitated with Muslim faithful on the Eid-el-Fitr celebrations, after the completion of the Ramadan amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
In a statement, the governor urged Muslims to promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.
The Edo State Governor noted that it was impressive that the Ramadan was observed devotedly amid the coronavirus pandemic, with the relevant government regulations observed by the Muslim faithful in the state.
He said the Holy month of Ramadan provided an opportunity for Muslim brothers and sisters to deepen their relationship with Allah, promote a life of sacrifice, charity and love for one another.
He expressed belief that lessons learnt from the month long exercise. Which include to show love and togetherness will come to bear in their everyday endeavours.
