Gov. Obaseki promises to pay N30,000 Minimum Wage

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has reassured workers in the state that there is no going back on his promise to pay the thirty thousand naira new minimum wage. 

The Governor re-echoed the assurance today at the University of Benin Sports complex, venue of the 2019 May Day celebration, otherwise known Workers` Day.

Aigboje Ikhuoria reports that Labour leaders in the state used the opportunity to draw government attention to the challenges faced by workers.
