Gov. Obaseki swears-in eighteen commissioners

Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki says his administration has zero tolerance to corruption, ineptitude and incompetence by political appointees.

The Governor made the remark at the swearing in of commissioners in Government House, Benin City.

Speaking shortly after the oath taking ceremony, Governor Obaseki appreciated Speaker and members of the State House of Assembly for ensuring a thorough screening of the commissioners.

He disclosed that he has provided a conducive atmosphere for the commissioners to carryout their duties and advised them to put their wealth of experience to bare in their various fields for the betterment of the state.

Responding on behalf of the others, John Inegbedion thanked the governor for finding them worthy of the appointment, assuring that they will live up to expectations.
