Governor Godwin Obaseki records 307,955 votes to defeat APC candidate who got 223,619 votes

The Independent National Electoral Commission has declared the Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, Mr Godwin Obaseki winner of Edo State governorship election after he polled a total of Three Hundred and Seven Thousand, Nine Hundred and Fifty Five votes to defeat his closet rival of the All Progressives Congress, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, who got Two Hundred and Twenty Three Thousand, Six Hundred and Nineteen votes.
