Educational experts have identified the inadequacy of critical infrastructure and ICT professionals as the bane of ICT education in Nigeria.
The Supervising Minister of Education Barrister Nyesom Wike stated this today in Abuja at the second Annual National Conference on ICT in Education organized by the Federal Ministry of Education.
The Supervising Minister of Education, Barrister Nyesom Wike who was represented by the Director Human Resources Mr. Obi Ikibeh said the present state of ICT in the nation’s educational institutions must be improved, If Nigeria must attain global competitiveness.
Lead speaker and done at the University of Ibadan Professor Adenike Osofison stressed the need for Nigeria to adopt policies that will entrench technology driven education techniques.
The conference is themed: Technology driven education, trends, challenges and opportunities.
