INEC Issues Permanent Voter Cards In Eleven Local Government Areas Of Zamfara State

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC in Zamfara, said the commission had issued Permanent voter cards in eleven Local Government Areas in the state.
INEC’s spokesman in the state, Malam Garba Galadima, made this known in an interview with the Newsmen in Gusua.
Malam Galadima said that fresh registration would be done in Gusau, Gumi and Zurmi Local Government Areas on May twenty-eight.
He said that majority of the polling units in Gusau, Gumi and Zurmi had problem of multiple registration, which according to him, led to the cancellation of the exercise in areas.
Malam Galadima, however, said that a few units in the other eleven Local Governments also experienced the same problem but it was not as bad as in Gusau, Gumi and Zurmi.
He advised those in Zamfara State that would not be able to collect their permanent voter cards at the end of the exercise on Sunday, May twenty-fifth to go to their Local Government Secretariat and collect them.
