Inter-Party Advisory Council Cautions INEC Against Subversion In Anambra Governorship Poll

The Inter-Party Advisory Council has warned the Independent National Electoral Commission, Police and other concerned bodies in Anambra State against subverting the will of the populace to forestall the ignition of crisis of monumental proportion.

The was handed down when Anambra State Chairman of IPAC, Comrade Bath Igwedibia, led leaders of all political parties operating in Anambra on a courtesy visit on the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Doctor Nkwachukwu Orji.

The political body told the two institutions, which play pivotal roles in the conduct of elections, to be resistant to all forms of dictations from interested political gladiators to avert anarchy in Anambra State.

Comrade Igwedibia said there is need for the INEC and police to be apolitical to avert any crisis before, during and after the November eighteen Governorship election in the State.
