The military has evacuated the rescued two hundred and seventy-five women and children from the Malkohi Camp, near Yola, Adamawa State.
The women and children were recently rescued from the Sambisa forest by the military.
They were brought to the Malkohi Camp about three weeks ago by the military who handed them over to the National Emergency Management Agency.
The NEMA Camps Coordinator in Yola, Alhaji Sa’ad Bello, confirmed that the women and children have been evacuated from the camp but said he could not say where the military took them to.
Alhaji Bello said the evacuation of the internally displaced persons was purely a military affair which he could not comment on.
