Minister of Sports says fans won’t be allowed to watch Super Eagles match in Benin

Contrary to the announcement by Edo state government that the gate of the refurbished Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City would be thrown open for sports enthusiasts to watch the African Cup of Nations qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, the Minister of Sports and Youths Development, Sunday Dare says fans will not be allowed to watch match to avoid the spread of COVID-19 disease.
 
The Minister stated this while briefing Newsmen in Benin City ahead of the qualifier, slated for the thirteenth of this month.
