Minister Of State For Foreign Affairs Resigns

Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Khadija Bukar Abba-Ibrahim, has resigned her appointment.

She confirmed her resignation Wednesday while speaking to journalists at the presidential villa after the federal executive council meeting. 

She spoke on her desire and plans if elected into the 9th national assembly 

Abba-Ibrahim running for the Damaturu/Tarmuwa/Gujba/Gulani constituency seat of the Federal House of Representatives on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, (APC).

In October 2018, she defeated her son-in law, Mohammed Bukar Abba Ibrahim, to emerge flag bearer of the seat.

She was appointed Minister in November 2015.
