The Montessori Nursery arm of Igbinedion Education Center has held its 2017 Maths, Science and Language fair.
Patience Osarogiuwa reports that the event was attended by parents and dignitaries from within the outside the State.
Parents, dignitaries and some management staff of Igbinedion Education Center led by the principal, Montessori nursery school, Sir Henry Ohiokhuaboh in a tour of the nineteen classes in the Montessori section where pupils under the supervision of their teachers did presentations on maths, science and languages.
Various fruits and vegetables including tuber crops such as water melon, water leaf, oranges, banana, fresh corn, onion, pepper, pumpkin leaf, carrot, cucumber, yam, Irish potatoes, cassava, cocoyam, sweet potatoes, Garri and many other were on display at the fair.
The pupils of Igbinedion Montessori Nursery school dressed in different outfit depicting various professions did special parade on security agencies and some paramilitary bodies and a typical electoral processes in Nigeria politics to the admiration of their parents and invited guests.
The pupils presentation also educate their parents and other guests in the science corner on the uses and health benefits of fruits and vegetables to the human body, while pupils of Eagle class engage in News casting.
Commenting on the Maths, Science and language fair day, the principal, Montessori Nursery school, Sir. Henry Ohiokhuaboh who said the school which is known for academic excellence, deemed it necessary to allow the pupils to showcase their talents.
Some parents at the fair day 2017 commended the school management for the brilliant performance of the children.
There was drama presentation on the contentious family and the ideal family, followed by debate on teachers are better than doctors by the pupils.
