NAFDAC, NDLEA Lament Nigeria’s Drug Abuse Status, Vow To Tackle Menace

The national agency for food drugs administration and control NAFDAC and the Nigeria drug law enforcement agency NDLEA say adequate measure has been put in place to effectively tackle circulation of illicit drugs .
The Director General NAFDAC prof Mojisola Adeyeye and the chairman of NDLEA Mohammad Abdullah spoke at the launch of the 2018 annual report of the international narcotics control board INCB in Abuja.
As Joseph Kadiri reports the report place Nigeria three time above average on illicit drug use with 14.3 million Nigerians said to be abusing drugs.
