The National Assembly has adopted a motion to invite President Muhammadu Buhari to address the legislature on efforts being made by his administration on the current economic recession.
The Senate adopted the motion this morning in concurrence with the House of Representatives.
The lawmakers answered in the affirmative when the question was put by the President of the Senate, Bukola Saraki.
The Senate, however, did not specify a date on which the President Commander in Chief is to brief the joint session.
Recall that the House of Representatives on Thursday, last week adopted the resolution which was sent to the Senate according to legislative guidelines for concurrence.
