The need for relevant authorities to find lasting solution to end allege atrocities perpetrated by herdsmen in Edo State and other parts of the country was the crux of an audience participation programme, Politics Today.
The discussants, Professor Eddy Erhagbe, Barrister Gentleman Amego and Professor Julius Iyasele decried the pains the activities of herdsmen have inflicted on some families.
They said it is high time the relevant authorities take bold step and the political will to come out with measures to curb the ugly menace as the nefarious activities is spreading like wild fire.
On the issue of the struggle of political leadership in Kogi State, between the Governor, Yahaya Bello and Senator Dino Melaye, the discussants called for caution for it not to snowball into full and uncontrollable crisis that will engulf the entire country.
The discussants also expressed optimism that the choice of commissioner nominees by Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki would be those that are ready to assist in his vision to transform Edo State.
