Super Eagles coach Sunday Oliseh says he is determined to show he has the managerial ability to take Nigeria’s national team to higher level and also disprove critics who say he lacks the experience needed for the job.
The 40-year-old former Borussia Dortmund and Juventus midfielder who signed a three-year deal last month made the remark today in a news briefing.
He said he got a coaching badge from the English Football Association more than five years ago and having worked with the Fifa technical study group assured that Super Eagles will gain from his experience.
Coach Oliseh said his only philosophy now is to try to get the players to get results as a team and not individuals.
The new Super Eagles coach also revealed his plans to invite players with Nigerian heritage who have been born or brought up in other countries.
Oliseh coached the Belgian lower league side Vervietois between 2008 and 2009
