Nigeria Loses N174bn To Gas Flaring – NNPC

Nigeria lost about one hundred and seventy-four billion naira to gas flaring in 2014.

This was made known in a data obtained from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

The NNPC in its Annual Statistical Bulletin for 2014, disclosed that oil and gas firms in the country flared about two hundred and ninety billion standard cubic feet of gas, representing eleven point four-seven percent of the total gas produced in the country in that year.
