Nigerian Army Brigade Denies Killing Eight Youths In Calabar

The thirteen Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Calabar, has refuted a report that its soldiers killed eight armed youths in Ikot-Offiong Community in Odukpani Local Government Area of Cross River State.

In a statement, the Spokesman for the brigade, Captain Kayode Owolabi described the report as false and baseless.

He said the brigade frowned at the publication and advised journalists to seek clarification with the headquarters when necessary.

Captain Owolabi gave the assurance that joint security agencies are on the ground in both communities to checkmate criminal activities.
