Obagie indigenes call on Benin Monarch to rescue them from Amagba community

Pedestrian and vehicular movement around the premises of the Palace of the Oba of Benin were temporarily disrupted today following protest by inhabitants of Obagie N’Evbuosa Community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government over alleged invasion of their community by elders by elders and youths of Amagba Community.

Wellington Akodeja reports that the protest by the residents of Obagie Community is to draw attention to the alleged invasion of their villages, which has led to the death of a youth.

    I have said it before, that it will be hard before this Amagba people will leave this Obagie n evbuosa people alone, because since 2012 this Amagba people, have put many of this Obagie n evbuosa people on the run, especially the family of Oduware, which they started with after the judgement in oba palace in 2012, that old mr Oduware and his daughter, you people of Amagba kill that time and this son that came back last year that you people also kill now and the other you people of Amagba put on the run, their God will ask you people of Amagba, you people of amagba should know that political power is not make to oppress other who do not have, because i have not see this before, you will kill a person and also use your political power to command the police to go after their family all because they do not dance to your shoe, we all know what happen in 2012, it is just that, the obagie n evbuosa, do not have who to cry to, because you people are the government, but you people of Amagba should remember that there is judgement after death. six years gone you people do not want to leave them alone, again remember their is judgement after death, you can not bribe in grave.
