Ogunwusi emerges 51st Ooni of Ife

Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, forty years, has been named as the Ooni of Ife by the Osun State Government on Monday.

He replaces Oba Okunade, who passed away in July 28 after a brief illness.

According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Moshood Adeoti said Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has approved the appointment of Prince Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi of Giesi Ruling House as the new Ooni of Ife.

Ogunwusi of the Ojaja Royal compound of Agbedegbede in the Giesi Ruling House, attended the Polytechnic, Ibadan, and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Accountancy.

He went into business and became a property merchant.

He has been involved in engineering, procurement and construction contracts locally and abroad for over eleven years.
