Omo N’Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolo Ewuare II Oba of Benin expresses gratitude to president Buhari

His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin has on behalf of members of Edo State Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs and people of Edo State, thank President Muhammadu Buhari for his warm reception to members of the Council in the Presidential Villa on fourth of July, 2019
 
The Omo N’Oba N’Edo also expresses deep appreciation to Mr. President for acceding to Omo N’Oba’s request to grant two ministerial slots to Edo State with the appointments of Doctor J. Ehanire and Doctor Clement Agba.
 
The Oba of Benin also expressed appreciation to President Buhari for recent appointments of two illustrious sons, Doctor Pius Odubu as Chairman, Niger Delta Development Commission and Chief Victor Ekhator as Edo State representative in the NDDC board, who incidentally is one of Omo N’Oba’s Enobore Chiefs.
 
Oba Ewuare the said the appointments attest to President Buhari’s forthrightness and personal respect for the Benin crown as it is gratifying to note the appointments came on the heels of the memorable visit by members of Edo State Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs which was led by the Chairman, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Ewuare the Second, Oba of Benin.
 
The Omo N’Oba also thanked President Buhari for the improvement in electricity supply to Edo State, for which there has been quite a lot of appreciations to His Royal Majesty for his intervention.
 
His Royal Majesty prayed to Almighty God to give President Buhari good health and wisdom to continue to lead the country to the next level.
