Ondo State First Lady recommends daily exercise to reduce cancer scourge

Wife of Ondo State Governor, Mrs. Betty Akeredolu says engaging in daily exercise is one of the ways of fighting the cancer scourge.

Mrs. Akeredolu made the remark when she led Ondo State Women and survivors of Breast Cancer in an exercise tagged: jog for life.

Mrs Akeredolu led other women from within and outside the state to jog from the ARAKALE-NEPA park through some major roads to create awareness on the importance of exercising to maintaining good health.

She presented survivors of Breast cancer to the public.

Other stakeholders who spoke to journalists on the importance of exercises in maintaining good health commended Mrs Akeredolu for her initiative and stressed the need for this awareness to be sustained.

The jog for life is part of activities marking the 20th anniversary of Breast cancer Association of Nigeria.
