Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN), has assured that his administration will provide necessary assistance and enact enabling laws to remove bureaucratic bottlenecks which may hinder optimum performance.
The Governor made this know during the official launching of the Ondo State Development and Investment Promotion Agency (ONDIPA), held at the International Culture and Event Centre, (The Dome)
Governor Akeredolu stated that the mandate of the new agency is to inform the business world of what ondo state government intend to do to make life worth living.
The Governor added that the state has one of the largest deposits of limestone and granite on the African Continent, stressing that the gross infrastructural deficit is inexcusable and regrettable.
Akeredolu however, promise adequate security for all those who are willing to come to the Sunshine state, adding that the state reputation for hospitality is well known.
Also speaking, Minister for Mines and Steel Development, kayode Fayemi expressed certainty that Ondo State would have a full processing plant for Bitumen Asphalt construction by next year.
The board of the agency has governor Akeredolu as the chairman, while the special Adviser to the governor on Development and investment,Boye Oyewumi will serve as vice chairman.
