Following the ultimatum given to Ondo State government by the organised labour, a meeting has been scheduled for Monday between the two parties.
The state government on Friday received a letter from labour leaders requesting a meeting over contentious issues involving workers’ salaries and emoluments.
Ondo State Head of Service, Mr. Dare Aragbaiye confirmed this to Newsmen in Akure .
mr. Aragbaiye assured organized labour of government’s readiness to interact with them on Monday and also find a lasting solution to the issues raised.
The organized Labour in the state handed the state government an eight-day ultimatum to settle workers’ accumulated salaries and deductions or face industrial action.
