Ondo State House Of Assembly has lifted the suspension it slammed on the impeached Speaker, Jumoke Akindele, former Deputy Speaker, Fatai Olotu and former Majority Leader, Ifedayo Akinsoyinnu.
Their suspension was lifted at the plenary session attended by the other thirteen factional members.
Speaking at the plenary, the newly elected speaker, Bamidele Oleyeloogun explained that the House took the decision to lift the suspension for peace to reign.
Other members who commented on the issue urged members who boycotted sittings following the impeachment and suspension of the former speaker and two principal officers to return for adequate representation of their constituencies.
Also commenting, the deputy speaker of the house ,Ironju Ogundeji added that the decision of the house to lift the suspension on the three former principal officers was also informed by the preliminary report released by the committee set up to investigate the allegations of corruption level against them.
Ondo State Correspondent, Omorowa Jonah reports that the former principal officers who were impeached and suspended in January are expected back to resume sitting on Wednesday.
